1980〜1990年代頃に制作された西陣織の袋帯と推定される作品を額装しました。山々に抱かれた京都の風景が描かれ、清水の舞台を思わせる建物や、三重塔・五重塔が点在する情景が織り込まれています。松は不老長寿や不変の象徴、紅葉は秋の豊かさと美しさを表し、日本の四季と人生の移ろいを感じさせます。金糸と銀糸を贅沢に用い、遠近感と光の変化を巧みに表現。光の角度によって朝霧の柔らかさや夕暮れの温もりが浮かび上がり、時の移ろいまでも感じられます。まるで京都を旅するかのように、眺めるたびに新たな発見と感動を与えてくれる一枚。空間に格調と物語性を添えます。

This artwork is framed from a Nishijin-ori fukuro-obi, believed to have been woven in Kyoto during the 1980s–1990s.
The design depicts a sweeping Kyoto landscape, with buildings reminiscent of the famous Kiyomizu-dera stage and pagodas scattered among the mountains.
Pine trees symbolize longevity and steadfastness, while maple leaves represent the richness and beauty of autumn — evoking the changing seasons and the passage of life.

Luxurious gold and silver threads are skillfully woven to create depth and shifting light.
Depending on the angle, the scene transforms — from the softness of morning mist to the warmth of sunset — capturing even the sense of time gently passing.
Like taking a journey through Kyoto, this piece offers new discoveries and emotions each time you gaze upon it, adding both elegance and a quiet narrative presence to any space.
