私は帯アートフレームの美しさに魅了され、その制作を始めました。
20代の頃、海外で働く機会があり、外国人が日本の文化や歴史に対して深い関心と情熱を示していることに衝撃を受けました。
この経験を通じて、自分自身の知識不足に気付き、日本文化への理解を深めたいと強く思うようになりました。
日本の名所や茶道、着物の着付け、食文化を学ぶ中で、日本の素晴らしい遺産を再確認しました。それにより、自分が日本人であることをより一層意識し、これらの貴重な文化を守り、次世代へ伝えていくことの重要性にも気付かされました。
古き良き伝統に新たな価値を見出すことで、帯アートフレームは美しいだけでなく、持続可能な開発目標（SDGs）の達成にも貢献していると確信しています。

帯アートフレームの発案者である義父は、この作品を通じて日本の文化的価値の高さを世界に発信したいと考えていましたが、病気のため実現することができませんでした。そのため、私は義父の遺志を継ぎ、日本の伝統美を世界へと広めながら、私たち日本人自身もその価値を改めて見つめ直すきっかけを作りたいと考えています。日本にしかない素晴らしい文化や行事が、時代の流れに埋もれることなく、未来へと確かに受け継がれていくことを願っています。

I started creating Obi Art Frames because I was captivated by their beauty.
In my twenties, I had the opportunity to work overseas, where I was struck by how foreigners showed deep interest and passion for Japanese culture and history. This experience made me realize my own lack of knowledge and spurred me to deepen my understanding of Japanese culture.
Through studying Japan’s historical sites, tea ceremonies, kimono dressing, and food culture, I was reminded of Japan's incredible heritage. It made me more aware of my identity as a Japanese person and the importance of preserving and passing on these unique treasures to future generations.
By discovering new value in time-honored traditions, we believe that Obi Art Frames not only embody beauty, but also contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The creator of the Obi Art Frames, my father-in-law, hoped to share the richness of Japanese cultural values with the world through this artwork.
Unfortunately, he was unable to realize this dream due to illness.

I have since taken on his wishes, with the aim of sharing Japan’s traditional beauty with a global audience—while also inspiring us, the Japanese people, to rediscover and appreciate the value of our own culture.

I sincerely hope that Japan’s unique and wonderful traditions and customs will not be lost to the passage of time, but instead be carried forward, cherished, and celebrated for generations to come.
