uchiwa -団扇-

昭和中期〜後期（1950〜80年代）に織られた西陣織の袋帯を使用しています。

黒地を背景に、菊や紅葉、梅の花など四季の花々があしらわれた団扇（うちわ）の文様がいくつも重なり合う、華やかなデザイン。金糸や銀糸が織り込まれた団扇が連なることで優雅なリズムが生まれ、全体に動きと立体感が生まれています。

日本文化において団扇は、末広がりの形から「繁栄」や「発展」の象徴とされています。重なり合う団扇の柄には、「幸運の重なり」や「祝いの連なり」といった意味も込められ、慶事などにもふさわしい吉祥文様として古くから親しまれてきました。
