1980年～90年代頃の西陣織と推定されます。
精緻な色分けや金糸の上品な使い方から、西陣の熟練した技術によるものと見られます。
特に樹木の立体感のある表現や多重色グラデーションは、西陣織の高度な技法の証です。
描かれているのは、冬景色のような霧に包まれているような幻想的な森。
中央には細やかな枝ぶりの木があり、生命の繊細さや季節の移ろいを表現しているかのよう。
下部に広がる金糸の地は、川の煌めきのように見えます。
光をまとったような森の情景と樹々の命をたたえて、「煌樹」と名付けました。
This piece is crafted from a vintage Nishijin obi, estimated to date from the 1980s to 1990s.
The refined use of gold thread and the intricate color gradation reflect the high level of craftsmanship characteristic of Nishijin weaving. In particular, the dimensional expression of the trees and the layered hues demonstrate advanced textile techniques.
The design evokes a dreamlike forest veiled in winter mist. At the center, a delicately rendered tree suggests the fragility of life and the quiet passage of seasons. The shimmering gold ground below recalls the gentle sparkle of flowing water.
Named “Kōju” (Radiant Trees), this work celebrates the luminous presence of nature and the vitality of life illuminated by light.
