1970年代後半〜1980年代前半頃の京都・西陣で織られたと推定される袋帯を使用しています。
錦織ならではの重厚感ある織りと、金銀糸の繊細な輝きが美しい作品です。
深みのある紺地の上に、四季の草花や吉祥文様、御所車などの宮廷意匠が優雅に配され、日本の古典美を感じさせる格調高い世界観が広がります。
まるで一織りごとに、王朝文化の記憶や雅な情景を映し出しているかのような一枚です。

This piece is created from a fukuro obi believed to have been woven in Nishijin, Kyoto, around the late 1970s to early 1980s.
The rich, substantial texture characteristic of nishiki weaving, together with the delicate shimmer of gold and silver threads, gives this piece its distinctive beauty.
Against a deep navy background, seasonal flowers and plants, auspicious traditional motifs, and courtly designs such as the gosho-guruma (imperial court carriage) are elegantly arranged, creating a refined composition that evokes the classical beauty of Japan.
Each woven detail seems to capture a memory of Japan’s imperial court culture and the graceful scenes of a bygone era.
