1970〜1990年代に制作された西陣織の袋帯と推定されます。
深い緑の地に、赤と白の菊が咲き誇り、金糸で描かれた扇状の弧が全体を優雅にまとめています。
菊は「長寿」「邪気払い」の象徴、扇は「繁栄」を意味し、金糸の弧は川の流れにも見え、
「絶え間ない幸せ」「長寿」への願いが込められています。
西陣織ならではの緻密な錦織技法と、絹ならではの柔らかな光沢が際立つ、美しく華やかな一枚です。

This framed artwork features a Nishijin-ori fukuro-obi, likely woven between the 1970s and 1990s.
On a deep green ground, red and white chrysanthemums bloom in abundance, gracefully framed by sweeping arcs of gold thread.
Chrysanthemums symbolize longevity and protection, while the fan-like arcs represent prosperity.
The flowing lines of gold also evoke a river, suggesting unending happiness and a long life.
It showcases the refined Nishiki weaving technique of Nishijin and the soft, elegant luster unique to pure silk, resulting in a radiant and captivating piece.
