kumihimo -組紐

こちらは、昭和後期（1970〜1980年代）に織られた西陣織の袋帯を使用した帯アートフレームです。
地には光沢のある銀糸が織り込まれ、滑らかで上品な質感が特徴です。
流れるような曲線のモチーフは、**組紐（くみひも）**を抽象的に表現したものと考えられ、人と人のご縁、心と心のつながり、調和や結びの象徴とされています。
紫、緑、橙、藍、金などの色彩が織りなすリズムは、まるでそれぞれの人生が交わりながらも自由に流れていくよう。静けさの中に動きを感じる、洗練された作品です。

This obi art frame features a vintage Nishijin-ori woven obi, believed to be from the late Showa era (1970s–1980s).

The lustrous silver-threaded background provides an elegant base for a flowing pattern that resembles “kumihimo”, traditional Japanese braided cords.
Kumihimo symbolizes connection, harmony, and the tying of bonds—a motif rich with meaning in Japanese culture.
