日本の伝統楽器「鼓（つづみ）」をモチーフにした昭和中期の西陣織袋帯を使用しています。
鼓は古来より雅楽や能、歌舞伎などの伝統芸能で用いられ、「音を届ける」「調和」「祝福」の象徴とされてきました。鼓の胴部分には金糸と赤糸で描かれた菊の花々。菊は"長寿"や"高貴さ"を意味する吉祥文様。
さらに、胴の装飾には幾何学的な七宝文様風の格子も見られます。これは円満や縁を意味し、鼓との組み合わせで「調和と幸福なご縁」を願う文様構成になっています。

この帯は西陣織の中でも特に高度な技術が求められる「錦織」または「綴織（つづれおり）」に近い技法で作られており、金糸と赤糸を精緻に重ねることで立体感と輝きを出しています。螺旋状の金糸使いは非常に繊細で手作業での高度な加工が施されていることがうかがえます。
華やかで格調高いこの帯アートフレームは、「音を届ける」「ご縁をつなぐ」象徴。一点物の帯アートとして現代の暮らしに日本の伝統美を届けます。

This artwork features a mid-Showa era Nishijin-ori fukuro obi, woven with a motif of the tsuzumi—a traditional Japanese hand drum.
Since ancient times, the tsuzumi has been used in classical performing arts such as gagaku, Noh, and Kabuki, and is considered a symbol of sound, harmony, and celebration.

The drum's body is adorned with chrysanthemums, gracefully rendered in gold and red threads. As auspicious motifs, chrysanthemums represent longevity and nobility in Japanese culture.
In addition, a geometric lattice resembling the traditional shippō (seven treasures) pattern can be seen decorating the body. This motif signifies harmony and good relationships, and when paired with the tsuzumi, the design expresses a wish for joyful and meaningful connections.

The obi is crafted using techniques akin to nishiki-ori or tsuzure-ori—some of the most intricate weaving styles within the Nishijin tradition. Layers of gold and red threads are woven with remarkable precision, creating depth and luminous beauty. The spiral gold threadwork is especially delicate, revealing the artistry of master craftsmanship.

This elegant and vibrant design, rich with symbolism, conveys both sound and connection. As a one-of-a-kind piece of obi art, it brings the refined beauty of Japanese tradition into contemporary living spaces.
