UZUMAKI -渦巻

昭和後期〜平成初期頃と推定される西陣織を使っています。
大きく描かれた渦巻模様は、自然界に宿るエネルギー、命の流れ、そして永遠の循環を象徴したもの。絶え間ない流れの中で、力強く発展し、未来へと勢いよく進んでいく姿が表現されています。背景には、吉祥文様の「亀甲文（きっこうもん）」が織り込まれており、安定や繁栄、長寿への願いが込められています。
“前進・繁栄・祝福”の意味が込められた力強いデザインと、鮮やかな色彩が、空間をエネルギッシュに、そして晴れやかに彩ります。

“Uzumaki” means “spiral” in Japanese—a shape that has long symbolized the energy of nature, the flow of life, and eternal cycles.
This artwork was created using a vintage fukuro-obi woven in Kyoto’s Nishijin district during the late Showa to early Heisei era (circa 1970s–1990s).
The bold spiral motif expresses powerful movement—growing with strength and advancing dynamically into the future. In the background, the traditional kikkō (tortoise shell) pattern adds layers of meaning, symbolizing stability, prosperity, and longevity.
Imbued with wishes for progress, fortune, and celebration, this vivid and dynamic composition brings a bright, uplifting energy to any space.
