昭和後期（1970〜80年代）ごろの紬地の帯と推定されます。手織りの温もりと大胆な構図が印象的。山や雲、波を思わせる曲線が幾重にも重なり、静かに広がる自然のリズムを描き出しています。中央の赤紫の帯には、幾何学的な模様があしらわれています。六角形が連なるそのモチーフは、見る人によって葡萄文様にも亀甲文様にも見える抽象的なデザイン。どちらも「豊穣」や「繁栄」「長寿」を意味する吉祥文様として、古くから親しまれてきました。織りならではの温もりと吉祥の願いを重ねたオンリーワンのアートです。

This piece features a tsumugi obi, believed to have been woven in the late Showa period (1970s–1980s).
Its handwoven warmth and bold composition stand out, with layered curves that evoke mountains, clouds, and waves—gently expressing the quiet rhythm of nature.

At the center, the reddish-purple section is adorned with a geometric motif of repeating hexagons.
Depending on the viewer's perspective, it may resemble grape clusters or kikkō (tortoiseshell) patterns—both traditional symbols of abundance, prosperity, and longevity in Japanese culture.

This is a one-of-a-kind artwork that blends the tactile richness of handweaving with the enduring wishes embodied in auspicious motifs.
