Shōen -翔炎

昭和中期〜後期（1950〜80年代）に織られた西陣織の袋帯を使用しています。
大胆な構図で織り出された葉や花の文様は、まるで炎が舞うように力強く、背景の漆黒とのコントラストが際立つ美しさを放っています。その様子から「翔炎 しょうえん」と名付けました。
この文様は、ヨーロッパのアール・ヌーヴォー様式に影響を受けた「唐草文様」をモチーフにしていると考えられ、和と洋が融合したモダンなデザインです。
金糸の繊細な輝きが、照明によって表情を変え、空間に上質なリズムと華やかさを添えます。
和室にも洋室にも調和し、空間をぐっと格上げしてくれる一枚です。

This obi art frame features a Nishijin-ori fukuro-obi, woven in the mid-to-late Showa era (1950s–1980s).
The bold composition of leaves and floral motifs, rising like flames, creates a striking contrast against the deep black background, radiating dynamic beauty.

The design appears to be inspired by karakusa (arabesque patterns), interpreted through the lens of European Art Nouveau aesthetics—a harmonious fusion of Japanese tradition and Western elegance.
