hanautsuwa -はなうつわ-

昭和中期～後期（1950〜80年代）に織られた西陣織の袋帯を使っています。
優しい金地に浮かぶのは、繊細な糸で織り出された丸皿文様。その中に菊や桜、紅葉など四季の草花が彩り豊かに収められています。まるで器に生けられた花々のように、整った美しさと温かな華やかさを感じさせてくれます。

“花器”という名のとおり、花を受けとめる器のように、どんな空間にも優しく馴染み、暮らしに彩りを添える一枚です。器は「受けとめる」「満たす」など、心の豊かさや感謝、祝福の象徴ともされるモチーフ。
インテリアに優しさと華やぎを添える、可憐でモダンな帯アートです。

This piece features a Nishijin-ori obi woven in the mid to late Showa era (1950s–1980s).

Set against a gentle gold background are circular plate motifs intricately woven with delicate threads. Inside them, vibrant seasonal flowers—such as chrysanthemums, cherry blossoms, and maple leaves—are gracefully arranged, evoking the refined beauty and warm elegance of floral arrangements.
True to its name, “Hanautsuwa” (Floral Vessel), this artwork gently blends into any space, adding a touch of charm and serenity. In Japanese culture, vessels are seen as symbols of receptivity, abundance, gratitude, and celebration.
